Deep groove ball bearings from UBC accept radial and axial forces and are suitable for high rotational speeds. Because of their constructional features, deep groove ball bearings are suitable for a wide range of applications. They are heat treated, so can be used in operating temperatures of up to 150 °C. Shields on both sides protect the inner part of the bearings from the ingress of dirt and other foreign bodies. If the outer ring rotates however, these bearings achieve no more than 40% of the maximum speed rating. These bearings are greased for life and therefore maintenance-free
